Math: We will be building numbers using hundreds, tens, and ones. We will also be playing our math games: Capture 5, Collect $2, and Close to 100.

Spelling: Our spelling words all have suffixes this week.

Language Arts: We will be learning the following literacy elements: character and setting. We will be learning about base words with suffixes. We will also learn about declarative (telling) and interrogative (asking) sentences. We will continue working on sequencing and ABC order.
Our vocabulary words this week are: twitch, willow, splendid, gear, parka, and yanked.

Social Studies: We will be learning about communities and their sizes: rural, suburban, and urban.

Reading: Our reading story this week is Kumak's Fish.

Handwriting: We will be learning to write lowercase cursive t, i and u.

Writing: We will learn how to write thank-you letters.
