Last Week in School...

In Language Arts, we got to listen to our Grammar Jammer again. 

It's a lot of fun to dance in school!

In math, we learned a fun new game called Collect $2. The kids worked in teams to roll dice and use pennies and dimes to get up to $2. They had to regroup their pennies for dimes and their dimes for dollars along the way.

Also in math, we learned how to add and subtract
using an unmarked number line.

This week in sign language, we reviewed our name signs and the alphabet. We learned how to sign the color words, and we spelled some short words.

Each month the students who stay in the Homework Club all month get a reward. In August, 6 kids remembered their homework every time, so they remained in the club. Here they are celebrating at recess time with cupcakes, Cheetos, and orange soda.
