September 26-30

Math: We will collect class data and make graphs. We will also learn how to read a double bar graph. We will learn a fun new game called Guess My Rule.

Spelling: Our spelling words this week all have vowel diphthongs.

Language Arts: We will be learning about author's purpose and compound sentences. We will be reviewing sequencing, prefixes, and suffixes.

Reading: Our story of the week is My Rows and Piles of Coins.

Writing: We will write thank you letters.

Social Studies: We will learn about national symbols and the vice presidents.

Science: NSU Biology students will be coming to present a lesson to us using hiss cockroaches!

Handwriting: We will learn lowercase cursive i.
