First Week of School

We had a busy first week of school! 

In math we reviewed making two digit numbers using strips of 10 and singles. By the end of the week, we were already adding and subtracting them!

We read the story "Oh, the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss and then wrote about what we want to be when we grow up. The crafts we made to go along with our writing turned out very cute!

We had our first sign language class. Mrs. Levsen taught us all of our name signs. The kids loved it!

In language arts, we went over the vocabulary for the coming week. We also got to listen to our Grammar Jammer about sentences. Some of us really enjoyed dancing to it the second time through!
