May 2-6

Math: We will work on solving growing pattern problems be using a fictional story about magic marbles. We will review area, perimeter, multiplication, and division.

Spelling: Our spelling words this week all have suffixes.

Language Arts: We will learn how to find the author's purpose in stories we read. We will also learn about conjunctions, homonyms, and onomatopoeia. Our vocabulary words this week are: cardboard, feast, fierce, flights, pitcher, ruined, stoops, and treasure. Reading: Our story of the week is Me and Uncle Romie.

Writing: We will finish a spring writing project about making wishes.

Handwriting: We will review all cursive letters.

Social Studies: We will learn about the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Our spring music program is on Thursday at 9:30 and 1:20.
