October 19-23

NO SCHOOL ON FRIDAY!

PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY!

Math: We will be starting the last chapter of Unit 2. It is all about measurement. We will be leaning about inches, feet, yards, and centimeters.

Spelling: Our spelling words this week all end in -le.

Language Arts: We will be learning about the literacy element plot and singular and plural nouns. We will be reviewing how to compare and contrast.

Reading: Our story of the week is I Wanna Iguana.

Writing: We will be writing a fictional Halloween story.

Handwriting: We will learn the lowercase cursive g.

Social Studies: We will learn some reasons why people moved or migrated in the past.
