September 21-25

Math: We will review hundreds, tens, and ones and how many more to get to 100 and 200. We will solve addition story problems with doubles. We will play our math game, Make A Dollar. We will take our Unit 1 math test. We will begin unit 2 about graphing.

Spelling: Our spelling words this week all have long vowel digraphs.

Language Arts: Will be learning to compare and contrast. We will also be learning about facts and opinions. We will learn about imperative (commands) and exclamatory (exclamation) sentences.

Reading: Our story of the week is Supermarket.

Writing: We will finish writing our fables.

Social Studies: We will continue to learn about communities. We will learn about members of a community and why people move to and from communities.

Handwriting: We will learn cursive d and e.
