The last few weeks...

These kids made it to Homework Club for the month of November! They remember their homework every time!


We played a math game, Collections Match.






We worked with a partner to solve math problems.









We played Close to 100 in small groups.




We have 2 volunteers from Dakotah Bank teaching us Junior Achievement. 





December 14-18

Math: We will continue to solve distance riddles. We will then start comparing numbers.

Spelling: Our spelling words this week have either hard c, soft c or soft g.

Language Arts: We will be learning about graphic sources, author's purpose, and alphabetical order. We will also learn about subject-verb agreement. We will review prefixes.

Reading: Our story of the week is Seeing Stars.

Writing: We will write a story about a pet reindeer and making the Grinch grin.

Handwriting: We will learn cursive k.

Science: We will finish up learning about habitats and start learning about life cycles.

December 7-11

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM ON THURSDAY- 9:30 AND 1:30

Math: We will work on solving distance riddles. Ms. Sanders, our junior field student, will teach 2 lessons.

Spelling: Our spelling words this week all have prefixes.

November 30-December 4

Math: We will continue working on solving story problems using different strategies. Our Junior Field student from NSU will teach a few math lessons.

Social Studies: We will be learning about our community with the help of the volunteers from Junior Achievement.

Brayden was our class's character winner of the month. He always shows great sportsmanship.


Our class had the most blood donations, so we had a pizza party!

We helped our Kindergarten buddies make a turkey, and then we read them stories. 








These kids all wore their Jump Rope for Heart shirts on the same day! 


 We made turkeys and wrote what we are thankful for.

Several families came to math night and played our math games.

We watched Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving with our kindergarten buddies.
